Want to hang decorations on your gutters or siding? Buy all-purpose light clips — you can buy a 100 pack for about $10.
- Duct Tape The Cords Down
Sometimes, it's unavoidable to keep extension cords away from where the trick-or-treaters will be. If that’s the case with your decorations, use duct tape to secure the cords to the surface. This helps reduce the chance of someone tripping.
- Use A Timer
No one wants to wake up in the middle of the night to go turn off the lights and decorations. Save yourself the trip and put on an outside timer.
